Maine Community Foundation offers library grants

ELLSWORTH, Maine — The Maine Community Foundation’s Rose and Samuel Rudman Library Trust is accepting applications for grants to support programs at libraries in Aroostook and six other Maine counties.

Rudman grants are all about the book. They allow small libraries to create programs tied to their collection, share resources, collaborate with community groups, and find other innovative ways to serve the community.

Grant proposals must be submitted by Jan. 15, 2020. For complete guidelines, online application form, and a list of 2019 grants, visit www.mainecf.org.

The Rudman Library Trust was established in 1986 to help libraries better serve communities in Maine with a population of less than 10,000.

The Aroostook MCF office is in Mars Hill.
