PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Regional Career Technical Center chapter of Future Business Leaders of America held their annual harvest supper and auction on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club.
The club thanked Kathy Peary and Mary Trainer for catering a Thanksgiving-style meal for the event.
FBLA members met at the clubhouse on the Sunday prior to set up tables and chairs, and decorate with fall decor. On Wednesday, the students who could be in attendance all worked together organizing the auction items prior to the meal and helping with whatever they could do to make the evening go smoothly.
Tom Drew was the auctioneer for the evening, helping the students raise money for the annual FBLA state convention, which will be held in Portland in March.
FBLA members who were present for the evening were Macie Bartley, Colby Bonville, Harleigh Brewer, Rossalyn Buck, Catherine Butterfield, Meg Casavant, Ethan Cassidy, Kacie Chapman, Meghann Collins, Janelle Doak, Clay Gregg, Kassidi Hanson, Madison Hedrich, Taylor Hedrich, Gavin Hemphill, Libby Kinney, Alana Legassie, Libby Moreau, Austin Plourde, Rebecca Rider, Riley Roderick, Alec Staples, Alison Sweetser, Anna Trombley and Abbey Violette. Absent was Matthew Hedrich.
A number of local businesses and individuals donated items for the auction.
