WOODLAND, Maine — Ashley Brydon, 32, of Woodland, and her son were injured Monday morning  after slush caused her to lose control of her vehicle and crash into a snowbank.

Brydon’s 2008 Ford F-250 slid into the opposite lane of the New Sweden Road in Woodland and crashed into a snowbank, Maine State Police Troop F said.

“The vehicle drove in the snow for approximately 10 feet when it hit a frozen section of the snowbank,” police said, adding that the vehicle then rolled over onto the passenger side.

Brydon and her son were able to exit the vehicle with the help of first responders, and were taken to Cary Medical Center by Caribou Fire and Ambulance, where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
