The Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobile and ATV trail groomers report excellent snow conditions for sledding. The club is hopping this time of the year with trail grooming and its special events.
Coming on Wednesday, Feb. 5, the Ridge Runners’ monthly board of directors meeting will be held at the clubhouse at 6:30 pm. The board will review grooming and club business needs.
Then on Saturday, Feb 8, an evening full of lighthearted fun and delicious treats will be had at the clubhouse. Starting at 6 p.m., an Appetizer and Dessert Night with fun and games is scheduled. Folks who are planning to attend are asked to bring a favorite appetizer or dessert to share with all who come out for the evening. Those attending are also asked to bring an additional favorite card or board game to play that evening. This has always been an event that delighted all those who attended in the past. Plan to come and have a good time.
First Friday Luncheon
The monthly First Friday Luncheon is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7, at the Mapleton Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m.
Come out and enjoy a terrific meal prepared by the First Friday chefs. Being just a few days before Valentine’s Day, the chefs will be preparing the foods you love. The food is always delicious, but the real joy is being with longtime friends as well as making new friends and sharing family updates, stories and memories.
Remember there is no charge for the lunch, but donations will be accepted.
February Senior Luncheon
The Mapleton, Chapman and Castle Hill Senior Citizens group will hold its next meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7.
Caroline Ballerstein reminds everyone over age 55 who lives in Central Aroostook that you are invited to attend and join the group. Please keep in mind the luncheon is potluck that is enjoyed by all who attend because the food is really great.
