HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Football Association is hosting an indoor youth football clinic on Saturdays March 7-21 at the Houlton High School gymnasium.
“This is a non-contact clinic for players of all abilities and interest levels to focus on skills and football fun,” instructor Jon Solomon said. “Whether you are a returning player or just starting out and want to learn moves, positions and technique and want to have some football fun in March, this is the clinic for you.”
The clinic will be broken up by age groups, with those in grades one through four meeting from 8 to 9:30 a.m., while those in grades five through eight meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The cost is $25 per participant and covers all three sessions and a Shires football t-shirt. Payment is due on the first day of the clinic. The clinic will include instruction by the Houlton Football Association’s youth coaches, as well as Houlton’s junior high and high school coaches.
