PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Maine Torchbearer Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on Feb. 15 at the home of Bonnie Cowett.
A note of appreciation was read from the Hope and Justice Project regarding the chapter’s donation of purses filled with toiletries and clothing for women in immediate need.
Cards were read from Honey Higgins, Iris Towle and Mae Gerrish.
It was decided that the chapter will make donations to Presque Isle High School Project Graduation, and to the GIFT food pantry.
The 50/50 raffle was won by Bonnie Cowett and Happy Dollars were shared from Judy Kenney, Honey Higgins and Jane Crouse.
Refreshments were served by Bonnie Cowett, Betsy Fitzherbert, Ellen Helstrom and Tammy Walton.
The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, at the home of Bonnie Cowett.
