HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Town Council will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30. Pursuant to emergency legislation, LD 2167, Part G, Section G-1, public participation is only allowed through Pioneer cable television channel 401 and Spectrum channel 1301.

III. New Business
A. (S030120-1) Council authorizes the Town Manager to extend the current Ambulance Lease/Maintenance Program with Autotronics of Madawaska, Maine, on a month to month basis beginning, March 1, 2020 for $8,589.00 per month and
sign all document pertaining to said extension. This extension covers the gap until the new lease requirements can be fulfilled.
This is the same amount that has been budgeted for 2020.
B. (S030120-2) Council authorizes the Town Manager to negotiate and execute a five (5) year Ambulance Lease/Maintenance Program with Autotronics of Madawaska, Maine, for $21,227.36 per month, beginning January 1, 2021. This includes four (4) 2021 Ford E-450 Braun Chief XL ambulances.
C. (S030120-3) Council authorizes the Town Manager to negotiate and execute a billing service agreement with Ambulance Medical Billing (AMB) of Boston, MA, for a three-year term beginning May 1, 2020. Three bids were received; their bid was $17.50 per run.
D. (S030120-4) Council ratifies the Maine Association of Police (MAP) Patrolman/Dispatcher and Command Unit Union Contract through December 31, 2022.
E. (S030120-5) Council accepts the low bid of $63,030 for a 2020 Ford f-450 Crew Cab from York’s of Houlton to be financed for thirty-nine (39) months at 1.9 percent. Budgeted $20,000 for 2020.
