     EASTON – Budd B. Nicholson Sr., 62, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Fort Fairfield on Feb. 5,  1951, the son of Owen V. and Ruth Ena (Brittain) Nicholson.
    He graduated from Easton High School and attended Husson College. Budd worked as a Human Resource Manager and Safety Coordinator at Converse Rubber Co. in Presque Isle and then at Mecon Manufacturing in Caribou. He was the founder of the Easton ATV Club, serving as President and then as Vice President.
    He is survived by his wife, Debra (Cray) Nicholson of Easton; a son, Budd B. Nicholson Jr. of Blaine; a daughter, Heidi Wakefield and her husband, Mark of Larimore, ND; a sister, Vicki Burtt and her husband, Milton of Easton; four grandchildren, Kittery and Logan Wakefield, Hunter and Owen Nicholson. He was predeceased by his parents.
    Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Easton Pentecostal Church, Bangor Rd., Easton, with Pastor Merritt Durost officiating. Friends called 11 a.m., until time of service at the church. Interment was at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton.
