HOULTON, Maine — The American Legion Chester L. Briggs Post No. 47 is having a flag disposal service on June 14.
Any residents who have distressed or damaged flags are encouraged to bring those items to the American Legion Post, located at 184 Bangor St., where they will be properly disposed of. A receptacle will be placed at the front door to collect the flags.
