ST. PETER, Robert E., Sr., 63, PRESQUE ISLE, at Portland, August 22, 2013. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, September 3, at 2 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Arrangements by Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Robert E. St. Peter Sr., 63, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, August 22, 2013, at a Portland healthcare facility, following a brief illness. He was born August 12, 1950, in Caribou, the son of Euclide and Helen St. Peter.
    Robert attended Presque Isle schools and worked in the roofing and carpentry field for a number of years, and also had been employed by Potato Service as a boiler operator for several years. Mr. St. Peter was a communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Mary’s of the Assumption Catholic Church, Presque Isle, and greatly enjoyed country music, computers and browsing the Internet. He was an avid NASCAR fan and collector, and also collected Harley Davidson models.
    Mr. St. Peter was predeceased by his father, Euclide St. Peter. He is loved and missed by his mother, Helen St. Peter Clark of Presque Isle; two sons, Robert and his wife, Maurene Ostrom-Belyea of Gold Bar, WA, Robert E. St. Peter Jr. of Presque Isle; one daughter, Lisa St. Peter Burbee and her husband, Bruce of Spring Hill, FL; one sister, Diana M. Chambers and her companion, Gary Giggey of Fort Fairfield; four grandchildren, Shaylin St. Peter and Emma Burbee, both of Spring Hill, FL, Shani Street of Baltimore, MD, Robert McKenzie of Presque Isle; one niece, Tina Roderick of Scott AFB, IL; one nephew, Edward Chambers of Fort Fairfield.
    A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 2  p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, with Father Emile Dube officiating. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. St. Peter to C-A-N-C-E-R, P.O. Box 811, Presque Isle, ME 04769. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield.
