CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Vikings Cross Country Team and Aroostook Savings and Loan recently sponsored a Virtual Viking Run, in which kids had nine days, or from Sept. 17 to Sept. 27, to go to the Caribou High School track and compete in the event.
Results for boys in the Pre-K/K slot were 1, Warren Beckum, 2 minutes, 1 second; 2, Trevor Cote, 2:31; 3, Jackson Anderson, 2:37:17; 4, Jase Stallings, 2:40.03; 5, Hiroki Hoeksma, 2:43; and 6, Luke Cyr, 3:54.
For the girls in the PreK/K slot, 1, Addison Ginish, 2:07; 2, Addison Rosser, 2:22.06; 3, Marlowe Albert, 2:24; 4, Amelia Theriault, 2:45; 5, Carolyn Hahn, 2:46; 6, Annabel Ginish, 2:52; and 7, Nova Cyr, 2:54.
First- and second-grade boys results are: 1, Samuel Gomez, 3:36; 2, Corey Cote, 4:45; 3, Easton Graves, 4:54; 4, Jackson Holdsworth, 5:08; and 5, Parker Stallings, 8:04.18.
For the first- and second-grade girls: 1, Scarlett Beckum, 3:25; 2, Ava Rosser, 3:59.10; 3, Delilah Anderson, 5:13.04; 4, Ayumi Hoeksma, 5:22; 5, Saige Paul, 6:11; 6, Samara Bouchard, 6:21; and 7, Annysen Bouchard, 6:34.
The third- and fourth-grade boys received the following scores: 1, Andrew Rosser, 3:02.90; 2, Pierce Gorneault, 3:38; 3, Peyton Gorneault, 3:42; 4, Lane Hahn, 4:56; and 5, Jayden Cyr, 07:07.29.
Out of the three third- and fourth-grade girls who participated: 1, Isabella Albert, 4:01; 2, Emma Graves, 4:01; and 3, Georgianna Anderson, 4:13.38.
For the fifth- and sixth-grade boys: 1, Ilias Gomez, 7:25, and 2, Brayden Drake, 7:28.
No fifth- and sixth-grade girls or seventh- and eighth-grade boys participated, however eight girls in seventh- and eighth-grade took part in the race. Their scores are: 1, Teanne Ewings, 5:42:28; 2, Andrea Ross, 6:36; 3, Maggie Bell, 6:37; 4, McKenna Phillips, 7:57; 5, Amelia Drake, 8:21; 6, Khora Marker, 8:30; 7, Lauren Lister, 8:31; and 8, Kate Bechtel, 8:41.
