To the editor:
After having served in the Maine House of Representatives, I am pleased to put my support behind Ashland native Kevin Bushey for District 151. He has the tenacity and levelheadedness to bear down and face the significant challenges that will be before the 130th Maine State Legislature.
Kevin Bushey has proven himself as a leader not only in Maine, but in our nation’s capital. He is a charter incorporator of Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development, and co-chaired the effort to establish “The Crown of Maine” logo for Aroostook County. He served over 20 years in uniform working in the highest echelons of the U.S. Air Force. He brings a solid voice, budgetary and planning skills that will be a necessity in the next legislative session.
District 151 will be well served with Bushey’s integrity, common sense and dedication. He is eager to fully commit himself to being our voice and representing county interests. He truly understands the needs and concerns of those of us who live and do our best to make a living in rural Maine.
