To the editor:
I am so pleased to vote for Kathryn Harnish to represent District 144 in Augusta.
I first connected with Kathryn while purchasing some tasty goat cheese at the Houlton Farmer’s Market, again while having a delicious meal at her restaurant The Vault, and again while buying family Christmas gifts at her pop-up store downtown. Kathryn clearly understands what it takes to be a successful small business owner in Aroostook County.
COVID closures have hurt local businesses and we need some creative thinking in Augusta to help turn things around for us all. We need someone representing us who knows what it takes to get a business off the ground and running. I trust Kathryn to use her small business expertise to help repair and grow our local economy.
I greatly appreciate Kathryn’s contributions to our community and I know she’ll work hard for us all in Augusta. I believe that Kathryn Harnish is truly interested in all Mainers thriving, and I hope you’ll join me in voting for her on (or before) Nov. 3.
