WASHBURN, Maine — Senior Reed Plummer was named Washburn District High School’s student of the month for September.
He is the son of Trina Farley and William Plummer.
Principal Larry Worcester said the staff all agreed that Reed is a respectful, polite and hard-working young man, who always has a smile on his face and a friendly “hello” to everyone he meets in the hall.
“Reed is a friend to everyone in school and never speaks badly of anyone. He participates in class discussions and always has something of value to add,” teacher Kelly Hemphill said.
