HOULTON, Maine — The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle campaign begins Thursday Nov. 19 in Aroostook County and volunteers are needed more than ever.
“Particularly in these times of economic uncertainty due to Covid-19, volunteers are desperately needed for 4-hour shifts throughout the Houlton, Presque Isle and Caribou areas,” Envoy/Pastor Frank Nataluk said.
Kettle donations are used during Christmas to help purchase clothing and toys and meals for children of needy families as well as throughout the year to help run a soup kitchen, emergency food pantry and emergency utility and heating assistance program.
Individuals, churches, service organizations like Rotary or the Masons and businesses are welcome to call Envoy/Pastor Frank Nataluk at The Salvation Army Houlton Corps at 207-532-2322 or email at fnataluk@use.salvationarmy.org.
