Peter Rairdon, center, was the winner of the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum raffle held in November.
He chose a hunting rifle from Mac’s Trading Post. The second-place winner of a $100 Mac’s Trading Post gift certificate was Mike Techuk, Sr. of North Carolina, who donated the prize back to the museum and third place was Rylee Fitzpatrick of Patten, who received a $50 gift certificate. Assisting with the presentation was museum president, Jamey Watson, left and Curtis Johnston, owner of Mac’s on the right. Proceeds of the raffle will be used for a variety of projects and expenses at the museum. Museum officials hope to reopen for public suppers sometime in the new year.
