HOULTON, Maine — York’s of Houlton has promoted Emily Gardner to general sales manager for the automobile dealership. In her new role, Gardner will be responsible for the new Toyota and Ford sales department, used vehicle sales department, finance and insurance, as well as the Customer Care Center.
Gardner started at York’s of Houlton in 2006 as a sales consultant. In 2008, she was promoted to Sales Manager. “Emily’s competence, commitment to quality client service, organizational knowledge and decades of pertinent experience, have earned her the highest regard in our executive management team” said Jamie York, dealer principal.
Gardner came to York’s with 10 years of experience at MBNA serving roles as section manager, quality manager, and education manager in the Portland, Orono, and Fort Kent branches.
She was raised on the Guptill dairy farm in Patten by her parents Robert and Louise. She currently lives on the family farm with her husband, Dave, and daughters, Lexie and Payton.
