PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — A building belonging to a sewer and septic system service based in Presque Isle was a total loss Monday night after catching fire, according to the Presque Isle Fire Department.
After receiving a call from a passerby who spotted the fire, crews from Presque Isle, Washburn and Caribou arrived at 11:21 p.m. and found the building belonging to Allen’s Environmental Services LLC to be engulfed in flames, Capt. Kyle Bartley of the Presque Isle Fire Department said.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation and the building is considered a total loss, according to Bartley.
Allen’s Environmental Services was located at 23 Washburn Road in Presque Isle.
