To the editor:
We want to thank everyone involved with the COVID vaccine center at the Northern Maine Community College, run by the Northern Light [A.R. Gould] Hospital.
We were unable to schedule an appointment near our home and were very grateful to obtain appointments in Presque Isle. After the difficulty of scheduling the appointment, the process of checking in and receiving our vaccines at the center in Presque Isle was a model of efficiency. From the signage to finding the building, the warm greetings of the volunteers, the safety procedures, the competence of the people entering our information, the professionalism of the people administering the vaccines to the volunteers cleaning the sitting area as we were leaving, the entire process was very impressive.
Our thanks and gratitude to all involved.
