Police searching for man believed to be in Houlton after alleged assault

HAYNESVILLE, Maine — Police are searching for 39-year-old Jeremy Wilson after an alleged domestic disturbance in Haynesville and believe he may currently be in the Houlton-area seeking transportation out of the state. 

The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call in Haynesville on March 19 at 5:50 p.m., and determined that an assault occurred with the victing sustaining non-life threatening injuries and fleeing to a neighbor’s home for assistance.

According to a press release sent by the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office, an arrest and search warrant were obtained and the Maine State Police Tactical Team responded to assist in locating and removing Wilson from his residence, but they were unable to find him.

As of Sunday, March 21, police were continuing to search for Wilson, who is described as 6-feet, 2-inches and roughly 185 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. The public is advised not to approach him, and instead to call the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office at 207-532-3471.
