New president of the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum

Paul Klein (left) has been voted in as president of the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum. He and his wife Cathy moved to Littleton several years ago from New Jersey.

Klein has been an active volunteer, helping with technology issues and keeping the lawns trimmed in the summer. Francis Fitzpatrick (right) of Houlton will be vice president. Fitzpatrick is a lifetime member and was instrumental in the organization of the museum. He has served in many capacities over the years. Debbie Campbell of Littleton will be the treasurer and Debbie Melvin of Monticello, continues in her role as secretary.  The volunteers are planning a drive-thru supper for Saturday, May 15, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The menu will be beef and turkey pot pies. The price will be $10 per person. The spring raffle is also underway and tickets are available to purchase for $10 each to win a John Deere lawn tractor or $1,000 cash. They may be purchased at the Littleton Pit Stop or by calling 538-9583. Plans are to open the museum for the summer season on Saturday, June 26.
