 Green speaks at October Probus Club meeting

    PRESQUE ISLE — The Probus Club of Aroostook met at Northern Maine Community College’s Reed Commons Oct. 17, with 19 members present.

    President Hilda Walton called the meeting, followed by the secretary’s report for September and the treasurer’s report being presented. Pearl Carmichael then gave a reading on Autumn before program chair Carolyn Watson introduced the special speaker, Craig Green.
    Green is the owner of an insurance business and serves on the Presque Isle City Council. He covered issues the council is facing, including the community center. Green is also a member of the Presque Isle Historical Society and covered the Maysville project on the Caribou Road.
    The Probus Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at Reed Commons at NMCC beginning at 10 a.m.
