HOULTON, Maine — The Southern Aroostook baseball and softball teams both picked up victories over Central Aroostook of Mars Hill Thursday evening.
Playing under the lights at Houlton Community Park, both Warrior squads scored early and often to secure their wins. The softball team rolled to a 15-7 victory, while the Warrior baseball team romped to a 20-2 win.

In the softball game, SA pitcher Jayniece Wenzloff, a sophomore, twirled a complete game.
Offensively, Maddie Russell had three hits, including a home run, and Emmalee Landry and Maddie Shields also banged out three hits for SA.
For Central Aroostook, Maci Beals ripped a 3-run home run.
Individual results for the baseball game were not reported.
