VFW to host meal

PRESQUE ISLE — VFW Post 2599 in Presque Isle is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday, Nov. 23, for veterans and their spouses from the Presque Isle area.
“This is a free Thanksgiving dinner provided by the members of VFW Post 2599 and Crown Ambulance Service. We thank all our veterans for their service to our country,” said Randy Michaud, post commander.
Seating is from noon to 1 p.m. Dinner will be served from 1-3 p.m.
“Come enjoy a great traditional Thanksgiving meal. If you know a veteran, please ask them to come join us. Extra guests are just $5 per person,” said Michaud.
Michaud asks members who have hats to please wear them.
“It would be greatly appreciated,” Michaud said.
