     LANGLEY, Ronald (Ron) F., 83, PRESQUE ISLE, November 22, 2013. A celebration of his life will be held on Dec. 1, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club.

     PRESQUE ISLE – Ronald F. Langley, 83, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2013, with his loving sons by his side. Ron was born Sept. 12, 1930, the son of Winfield and Maude Langley. He attended Presque Isle schools.
    He married the love of his life, Priscilla M. Giberson in 1950. Ron worked for many years with his dad and brothers at the Presque Isle Starch Factory until its closure. He was a volunteer fireman and worked for many years at the Converse Sneaker factory until it closed. During his retirement years, he worked for local farmer, Larry Parks, as well as the Craigville Gate, in the North Maine Woods for several years.
    Ron was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, traveling on occasion with his son, Mike. He had a passion for gardens and got great enjoyment out of watching them grow. Ron was a kind and gentle man who lived his life with grace and dignity. Family was everything to him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
    He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael F. Langley of Ashland, James and Kelly Langley of Presque Isle; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Bernard White of Presque Isle, and Sally and Wayne Garrison of Mars Hill; two brothers, Marvin of Florida and Squa-Pan Lake, Vernon of Presque Isle; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Natalie and Graydon Broad of Bath, NB, Canada, Linda and Gerald Murchison of Presque Isle; 14 grandchildren, Amy, Jessica, Joshua White, Amber Hamilton, Taylor, Emily, Chantelle and Paige Garrison, Ben, Chase, Tommy, Joey, Samantha and Danny Langley; eight great-grandchildren, Michael, Nyah, Kolbie, Londynn and Lariah Langley, Grace Hamilton, Wyatt Garrison and Shaun Michael Jones; lifelong devoted friends, Priscilla Jalbert of Presque Isle, and Sid and Marion Flannagin of Crescent Lake, ME.
    He was predeceased by a beloved daughter, Sharon B. Langley; parents, Winfield and Maude Langley; two sisters, Gail and Dawn Langley; and a brother, Basil.
    A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on December 1, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club on the Parsons Road. All his family and friends are welcomed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the cancer fund of your choice.
    A special thank you to all the wonderful nurses at the skilled unit in Mars Hill. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
