MAPLETON GIRL SCOUT TROOP 1133 worked on their “Simple Meals” badge at a recent meeting with the help of Mapleton Diner owner, Darcy McBay. McBay helped the girls prepare a weekend breakfast of french toast, sausage, bacon and fresh fruit. She also helped the girls make a pudding dessert. After enjoying the meal they cooked themselves, the girls paused for a photo. Pictured are, from left, front row: Madelyn Buzza, Amanda Winslow, Sydney Robichaud and Alexis Getchell. Back row: McBay, Katelyn Amero and Bethany Baker. Absent when the photo was taken was troop member Delaney Alward.
