PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Elks Lodge 1954 recently congratulated two Mapleton fifth-graders for having the statewide winning entries in the Elks organization’s 2021 Drug Awareness Program poster contest.

Both are students of Mapleton Elementary School teacher Valerie Black, and have their winning posters featured in the Maine Elks Association’s 2021 Convention booklet.
