     BONNER, Abbie I., 100, ASHLAND, at Eagle Lake, December 30, 2013. Burial will be in the spring in Danforth, ME. Arrangements are in the care of Lajoie Funeral Home, Ashland.

    ASHLAND – Abbie I. Bonner, 100, died peacefully on Dec. 30, 2013, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born in Castle Hill Sept. 6, 1913, a daughter of the late Berton and Eva (Alley) Randall.
    She married Milo “Mike” A. Bonner on August 19, 1933. They made their home in Danforth, ME, and Mass., and worked many years with various shoemaking companies in Mass. She was a member of the Aroostook Rebekah Lodge. Abbie and Mike spent their later years on their farm in Ashland, where she grew beautiful flowers and a vegetable garden.
    She is survived by one son, Lyndly Bonner and his wife, Diana of Norton, MA; three sisters, Florence (Howe) Kinney of Washburn, Alteen LaValley of Ashland, and Eva Berry of Presque Isle; two sisters-in-law, Francis Randall and Kathy Randall; many grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
    Abbie was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Milo “Mike” Bonner; one son, Floyd W. Bonner; five brothers, George, D. Eugene, Berton, Forrest, and Sheldon Randall; and two sisters, Lula Lovley and June Boyce.
    A funeral service was held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 1 p.m., at Lajoie Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland, with Pastor Bruce Blackney of Washburn Pentecostal Church officiating. Relatives and friends were invited to greet the family on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring in Danforth, ME.
