Free trade show session

CARIBOU — Participating in trade shows can be a good way to increase business, but the correct tools can capitalize on the experience.
Business owners are encouraged to sign up for a free workshop on developing sales materials for trade shows to be held via videoconference at Northern Maine Development Commission (NMDC) in Caribou, Friday, Jan. 24, from 6-9 p.m.
The workshop will explore how to use the creative process, descriptive language, graphics and photography to increase the power of a trade show experience. Workshop presenter, John Entwistle of the Maine Small Business Development Center, will cover developing brochures and sales sheets, wholesale price lists, order forms, credit terms, shipping policies and product tags.
