Students from Easton Elementary School have been enjoying the Great Maine Book Tournament book list and 15 students competed in the tournament’s District Kahoot Match.

To prepare for this match students have been reading the 20 novels from the tournament book list. They have held book talks and have been practicing at lunchtime.

Two teams competed this year, Thing 1 Team and Maine’s Students Team. After answering 27 questions, the Maine’s Students Team won the district match and will be advancing to the Northern Region Kahoot match.

Organizers said this has been a successful program due to the donations of books from the Presque Isle Rotary Club.
