Friday, April 22

CARIBOU: AA meeting, 7 p.m. at Caribou Ecumenical Food Pantry, 62 Collins St.

HOULTON: Putnam House Senior Center, open 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

PRESQUE ISLE: The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Reed Fine Art Gallery will host an opening reception for two Senior Art Exhibitions from 6-8 p.m. BFA majors Miranda Cole and Sophia Gibson will present their shows “Capsulated Concepts” and “To You, Whoever You are,” the shows run until April 26. This event is free and open to the public, anyone attending will be required to wear a face mask. Regular gallery hours during the academic year are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sundays from 2-8 p.m. FMI, contact Frank Sullivan at frank.sullivan@maine.edu or 207-694-1920.

Introduces family caregivers to the caregiving role, providing them with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to carry out that role and alerting them to self-care issues.
