Musical On Ice
The Northern Maine Figure Skating Club will present its 32nd annual Musical On Ice Saturday, March 15 at the Forum in Presque Isle.
The theme is “The Lion King.” Showtimes are 1 and 7 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
Presque Isle boys win MPA Sportsmanship Award
The Presque Isle boys’ varsity basketball team was the recipient of the Maine Principals’ Association Good Sportmanship banner for Eastern Maine Class B and was presented the award at the Feb. 28 Class B state championship game held at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
Volleyball tourneys
Aroostook League high school volleyballtournaments begin this week. The Division II girls’ tourney is slated for Friday at Washburn beginning at 1:30 p.m. and the Division II boys’ competition is Saturday at 9 a.m. at Fort Fairfield.
Division I tourneys take place next Wednesday, March 19 — the girls at Presque Isle High School and the boys at Caribou High School.
