HOULTON, Maine – Katahdin Trust, a community bank serving northern Maine and the greater Bangor and Portland regions, is pleased to announce the hiring of Alexis “Lexy” Brown as branch manager and community banking officer. Brown will be responsible for retail lending, business development, and the daily branch management of the Bank’s Houlton location.
“Lexy brings a new energy to our branch, years of previous banking experience, and a strong educational background,” said Billi Griffeth, regional vice president, retail banking. “She will play a key role in training new staff at our branch during this time of transition and will provide excellent customer service to Houlton-area residents.”
A Houlton resident, Brown is an active member in her community, participating in several fundraising events for the Anah Shriners with her husband Isaac.
“Lexy’s experience, her customer focused approach, and her attention to detail make her a great fit for Katahdin Trust. I’m excited that she’s joined our team and know that she’ll do well in this role,” said Angela Butler, EVP, retail and business banking.
Brown has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine in Presque Isle and is currently enrolled in an MBA program through William Howard Taft University.
