opens Ashland branch
ASHLAND — On March 17, Acadia Federal Credit Union opened the doors to its fifth location at 131 Main St. in Ashland. In recent years, Acadia FCU has been on a steady path of growth with four full-service branches in the St. John Valley and now a full-service branch in Ashland.
“It makes sense for us to extend into the Ashland area,” said David Desjardins, president/CEO of Acadia FCU. “The residents and industries in the surrounding area are very similar to Acadia’s current membership base. I believe we understand the financial needs of Ashland area residents and business owners, and we can contribute to the community’s growth.”
Ryan Jandreau has joined the Acadia FCU management team as branch manager in Ashland. Jandreau has five years of experience in the industry and will be responsible for and oversee all operations of the branch office. Jandreau’s prior work history in the Ashland community will be an asset as he is familiar with both residents and businesses in the area.
“I am very excited to be a part of the credit union movement. I am eager to get the word out about the benefits of credit union membership,” said Jandreau. “I’m looking forward to building sound and strong relationships with members of the Ashland community and my new co-workers at Acadia.”
Acadia FCU’s Ashland branch has a full-service lobby, a drive-thru area, and an ATM. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
The credit union’s product portfolio includes checking and savings accounts, certificates, IRAs, education and health savings accounts, home banking, and state-of-the-art mobile banking. Acadia offers its members low rates and finance options for vehicle and recreational vehicle loans, mortgage loans, personal loans and low-interest credit cards. Through its commercial lending department, real estate, equipment and operational loans are available to businesses.
A grand opening showcasing Acadia FCU’s financial products and services is planned for early spring.
