The following cases were heard in the Aroostook Superior Court during the month of June, 2007: Lindsay M. Adams, 24, of Washburn, criminal trespass. Sentenced 150 hours of community service.
Bruce H. Barnett, 48, of Madawaska, two counts of unlawfully trafficking in scheduled drugs. Sentenced to one year in prison, all suspended, and one year probation on one charge. Second charge dismissed.
John H. Barretto, 47, of Washburn, aggravated assault. Fined $300, sentenced five years in prison, all but 18 months suspended, three years probation and $30,304.85 in restitution.
Shawn W. Bragg, 22, of Washburn, probation violation, two counts of burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and aggravated criminal mischief. Sentenced 212 days in jail, probation partially revoked for first charge. Sentenced four years in prison, all suspended, two years probation, and $13,660 in restitution for the last of the second charge. Sentenced to 212 days in jail for each of the third and fourth charges. The last charge was dismissed.
Chad E. Brewer, 29, of Blaine, assault. Fined $500, sentenced 60 days in jail, all suspended, and one year probation.
Bruce E. Cameron, 39, Presque Isle, theft by receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. Both charges dismissed.
Joseph M. Dalessandris, 39, of Caribou, two counts of operating after habitual offender revocation, prior. Charges dismissed.
Denise M. Dube, 38, of Grand Isle, operating after habitual offender revocation, prior, operating under the influence, three-plus priors, and furnishing liquor to a minor. First two charges filed on $165 court costs and third charge was filed on $170 court costs.
Heather L. Fickel, 23, of Nashville Plantation, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. Sentenced nine months in jail, all but 14 days suspended, stayed, one year probation, and $3,177.85 in restitution.
Dana A. Gardner, 41, of Anson, OUI – no test. Fined $1,000 and license suspended for 90 days.
Bruce A. Gustafson, 48, of Caribou, aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, and two counts of violating condition of release. Fined $25,000, 20 years in prison, all but nine years suspended, and four years probation for the first charge; fined $400 and five years in prison for the second charge; and six months in jail for each of the last two charges.
Rhonda Gustafson, 46, of Caribou, unlawful possession of scheduled drug. Fined $400, 18 months in jail, all but 30 days suspended, stayed, two years probation and 250 hours of community service.
Dean C. Hanning, 42, of Bangor, probation violation. Sentenced 90 days in jail and probation partially revoked.
Will S. Haynes, 18, of New Haven, Conn., robbery and assault. The first charge was dismissed and fined $300 and 90 days in jail for the second charge.
John E. Hedman, 56, of Washburn, OUI, one prior. Fined $1,100, sentenced seven days in jail, stayed, licenses suspended for 18 months, and registration suspended.
Michael Hitchcock, 50, of Washburn, assault and disorderly conduct. The first charge was dismissed and fined $500 for the second charge.
Henry C. Jolly, 25, of Woodland, probation violation and unlawful possession of hydrocodone. Sentenced 165 days jail, probation partially revoked, and probation continued for the first charge and the second charge dismissed.
Steven Lee, 46, of Danforth, violating condition of release. Fined $500 and nine months in jail.
Dean W. Levesque, 42, of Grand Isle, gross sexual assault. Withdrawn.
Haze A. McDougal, IV, 37, of Caribou, probation violation. Sentenced 46 days jail, probation partially revoked, and probation continued.
Joshua J. Merriam, 19, of Caribou, probation violation. Sentenced 141 days jail, probation partially revoked, and probation continued.
Charles D. Michaud, 43, of Rockland, unlawfully furnishing scheduled drug, assault, illegal possession of firearm or crossbow, and violating condition of release. Sentenced three years in prison, all but 60 days suspended, two years probation, 500 hours of community service within for the first charge; 60 days at Aroostook County Jail for the second charge; 45 days in jail for the third charge; and 35 days in jail for the last charge.
Joshua D. Nichols, 31, of Embden, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, and OUI, one prior. Fined $1,000 for the first charge and fined $700, seven days in jail, stayed, license suspended for 18 months, and registration suspended for the second charge.
Brandon L O’Leary, 22, of Allagash, OUI. Fined $500 and license suspended for 90 days.
John J. Ouellette, 50, of Saint Francis, two counts OUI, one prior. Fined $700, seven days in jail, stayed, license suspended for 18 months, and registration suspended for each charge.
Joshua T. Ouellette, 25, of Caribou, eluding an officer, operating while license suspended or revoked, and failure to stop for an officer. The first charge dismissed; fined $1,000, 15 days in jail, stayed for the second charge; and fined $500, 15 days in jail, stayed for the last charge.
Tyler P. Rose, 27, of Caribou, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and forgery. Fined $200 for the first charge and the second charge dismissed.
Matthew R. Sands, 25, of Caribou, two counts of probation violation. Sentenced nine months in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued for the first count. Second count dismissed.
Bonnie L. Sarmiento, 47, of Caribou, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. Fined $500, 10 days in jail, stayed, and 100 hours of community service.
Jamie L. Sloan, 29, of Presque Isle, home repair fraud. Filed without costs.
Darrell P. St. Peter, 43, of Caribou, 15 counts of theft of unauthorized taking or transfer, seven counts of burglary, criminal mischief and aggravated criminal mischief. Sentenced two years in prison, all suspended, two years probation, and $14,850 in restitution for two theft charges. All other charges dismissed.
Ryan M. St. Peter, 20, of Caribou, unlawfully trafficking in scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drug. The first charge dismissed and fined $400, 364 days in prison, all suspended, one year probation, and 100 hours of community service on the second charge.
William Stanton, 59, of Masardis, assault and disorderly conduct. The first charge dismissed and fined $300 for the second charge.
Randy Washburn, 43, of Skowhegan, criminal trespass and violation of privacy. Both cases filed on $500 court costs each.
