CARIBOU, Maine —As Breast Cancer Awareness Month begins, Pink Aroostook, a program of Cary Medical Center, is excited to bring back the Luncheon of Hope for Breast Cancer Survivors from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Caribou Motor Inn.
The first keynote speaker will be Karen Ouellette, a native of Fort Kent. She is a 16-year breast cancer survivor and the Northern Aroostook Hospice Chaplain for Northern Light Health & Hospice.
Angel Murchison, also a native of Fort Kent, is the second keynote speaker. She is an author, speaker and host of the radio program Destiny Moments. Murchison is also the founder of Healing Waters Women’s Ministry.
There is no charge for the luncheon, as it is an opportunity for survivors to network and celebrate each other.
