The Presque Isle Future Business Leaders of America recently competed at the annual convention held in Portland March 16-18.
Presque Isle received third place out of 10 schools and six students received first-place individual awards. Those winners were Blair Bailey for Chapter Activity Display, Clarissa Buck for Impromptu speaking and Accounting I, Hannah Guerrette for Chapter Activity Display, Shaye McHatten for Public Speaking I, Lauren Schiff for Chapter Activity Display and Shannon Sweeney for Business Calculations.
Eight students received second place. They were Bailey for Community Service Project, Buck for Insurance and Risk Management, Samuel Gray for Future Business Leader, Guerrette for Community Service Project, Kyle MacCallum for Business Procedures, Rachel Maxwell for Business Presentation and Spreadsheet Applications, McHatten for Business Financial Plan and Alyssa Sweeney for Business Financial Plan.
Eleven students came home with third-place trophies. They were Bailey for Management Information Systems, Ben Buckley for Client Services, Chris Carroll for Computer Applications, Gray for Business Communications and Business Math, Grayden Hemphill for Local Chapter Annual Business Report, Rachel Hobbs for Public Speaking II, Jacqueline Lambert for Personal Finance, Maxwell for Database Design and Application, Lauren Schiff for Scrapbook Award of Merit, Sweeney for Accounting I and Karson Wilcox for Networking Concepts.
