Day sees value in community service

National Honor Society has always been one of my main goals. I’ve worked hard all through high school to achieve that goal and it has been extremely rewarding.

It’s taught me to be a leader and good role model for my peers and also shown me that hard work does pay off. Not only has it taught me how to be a better person, it’s also shown me how important it is to do service for others.

As a chapter we have done different fundraisers to help charities such as Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Knowing that I am making a difference in people’s lives is something that I think everyone in my chapter now appreciates.
