Spragueville Extension

    The Spragueville Homemakers Extension met for its April meeting with a tour of the Maple Moose in Easton, located at 28 Bowers Road.
Ten members were in attendance as owners C. J. King and his wife Jodi explained and demonstrated the process of making maple syrup and maple candies. Sampling of these products was provided by the Kings in the form of delicious corn fritters in maple syrup and tasty maple candies. The afternoon was enjoyed by all. A big thanks to the Kings for the excellent hospitality.
The next meeting of the Spragueville Homemakers Extension will be held in May. A historical trip of Presque Isle on Molly the Trolley, with lunch out to follow, is being planned.
