Adult dodgeball tourney

    The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring an adult dodgeball tournament on Saturday, April 26 beginning at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $80 per team. Those interested must register their team and submit rosters by 5 p.m. today.

5K run/walk scheduled May 4

    A 5K fun run and walk on May 4 is a fundraiser for the Hope and Justice Project and Homeless Services of Aroostook and will be held at the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Gentile Hall from 1-5 p.m.
The first 200 to register will receive a T-shirt and the first 300 will receive a pedometer. Prizes for the top fund raisers and teams with the most participants will also be given out, with a raffle for more prizes also planned.
The registration fee is $15 per person, with children under 12 free. Pledge forms and a route map are available at www.safehomesaroostook.org.
