to the Aroostook House of Comfort

    COUNTY SUPER SPUDS of Mars Hill made a $100,000 donation to the Aroostook House of Comfort’s capital campaign during the 66th annual Presque Isle Rotary Radio-TV Auction.

    Funds will be used to build a hospice home in northern Maine. Recently, Rick Duncan, chair of AHOC, presented the business with a certificate of appreciation for its generous donation. Pictured are, from left: Dave McCrum, Jason Wollard, Duncan, Jay McCrum, Jon McCrum, Nick McCrum, Darrell McCrum, Bob Lunney and Wade McCrum. The McCrum family has seen a lot of families struggle over the years as they face their end-of-life journey and feel that this facility will create an environment that will help the families during a very difficult time.
