At noon on Saturday, June 14, the Presque Isle Elks will commemorate Flag Day with a ceremony at the Elks Lodge, located at 508 Main Street in Presque Isle.
“This ceremony is not only open to the public, the public is encouraged to attend. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is the only fraternal organization which formally observes Flag Day. The observance of Flag Day this year will include the presentation of the Flag of the United States by the color guard from the Loring Job Corps, as well as an address by Lt. General Brent Boyles,” said Presque Isle Elks Exalted Ruler Alan Harding.
