St. John Valley Senior College class on cremation services

FORT KENT, Maine — St. John Valley Senior College is offering a class on cremation services where a licensed funeral practitioner will discuss the law and guidelines of the cremation process, what to look for in selecting a crematory, the differences between burial and cremation services, as well as pre-planning the services.

This will be an excellent class for anyone seeking basic information about this end-of-life process.

The class will be held on Tuesday, March 14 from 6–8 p.m. in UMFK’s Nadeau Hall Teleconference Room. Registration for the class is made by calling 207-834-3536. 

This is the first of 12 activities provided by the St. John Valley Senior College this spring term.

Senior College is a program designed for people who are over 50 years of age, like to remain active and have a keen interest in learning. They offer classes, workshops, and field trips with a goal of making learning fun while not having to worry about homework, exams, or grades.
