celebrate a combined 2,350 years of service

    TAMC recognized a collective 2,350 years of service on the part of 167 employees at the 2014 Employee Recognition celebration. Among them was one team member, Janet Sawyer of Easton, a physical therapy aide, who was recognized for 50 years of service. Sawyer began her career in health care at Community General Hospital in Fort Fairfield.

    Employees were presented service awards recognizing their 50, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 and five years of service to TAMC during a dinner event held at the University of Maine at Presque Isle May 9.
    In addition to the longest-tenured honoree, one employee was recognized for reaching 40 years of service to TAMC. Carole Wilson of Presque Isle was celebrated for her four decades of service. Wilson is a registered nurse for Aroostook Cancer Care.
    Six employees were recognized for reaching 35 years of service to TAMC. Honored for reaching this milestone were Theresa Clark and Daphne Walsh, both of Mars Hill; Dianne Berry of Monticello; Sandra “Sandy” Faulkner of Bridgewater; Lana McNamee of Fort Fairfield; and Patricia “Pat” Lamoreau of Easton.
    Thirty-year service awards were presented to Rick Bishop of Caribou; Margaret Hartsgrove of Crouseville; and Len Cain, Julie Foster, Micheline Greaves, Lorri Jackson, Julee Maynard, Nancy Perkins and Stephen Porter, all of Presque Isle.
    Awards for 25 years of service were presented to Patricia “Patty” Adams of Caribou; Karen Carmichael of Washburn; Margaret “Peggy” Flewelling of Easton; Gail Hallett of Bridgewater; Timothy Larrabee of Blaine; Fred LaFrancis of Mapleton; Dale Beaulieu, Cheryl Grass and William “Bill” Milliard, all of Fort Fairfield; and Cindy Deschaine, Dr. Roger Pelli, Sue Porter and Julie True, all of Presque Isle.
    Twenty-year service awards were presented to Mark Bourgoin of Limestone; Kim Cooper of Odell, New Brunswick; Wendy Copeland of Mapleton; Cynthia Craig of Masardis; Lynn Turnbull of New Sweden; Scott Cyr and Dr. Jay Reynolds, both of Fort Fairfield; and Susan Gilson, Robert MacKinnon, Christine “Cristi” Quirion and Tina Ward, all of Presque Isle.
