Women, Work and Community is offering a free six-week “Financing Your Future” workshop series at their Presque Isle center located in Aroostook Hall on the Northern Maine Community College campus. Hands-on activities guide participants in becoming more comfortable and confident with money. The series will explore attitudes and beliefs about money. Participants look at their current financial situation while learning ways to manage spending, increase income, and make wise use of credit. “Financing Your Future” explores money management tools and budgeting ideas to help participants meet their personal financial goals.
The workshop will be held on consecutive Monday evenings, October 15 through November 26, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Pre-registration for this free series is required.
