Aroostook League recognizes top performers
Baseball, softball, track and tennis athletes cited
The Aroostook League has announced its All-Aroostook team for the spring sports season.
In team sports such as baseball, softball and tennis, All-Aroostook players are selected by the league coaches. For track and field, selections are made based on criteria established by the league.
Athletes are awarded an All-Aroostook certificate at their spring sports awards assemblies.
The following are the 2014 selections:
Class B and C baseball: Matt Curry, Cody Herbert, Matt Milliard and Sean Sadler, all of Caribou; Abe Desjardins, Anthony Desjardins and Colby Jandreau, all of Fort Kent; Jake Drew and Billy Phillips, both of Houlton; Sam Cyr and Ian Lee, both of Madawaska; and Ben Buckley, Josh Gordon, Saul Nunez, Andrew Paterson and Tyler Seeley, all of Presque Isle.
