GORHAM – Vickie Lynn (Culberson) Bunnell, 57, passed away on July 22, 2014, with her loving family by her side, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. She was born in Bangor, on July 23, 1956, the daughter of Walter P. and Harriet E. (Scott) Arculeo.
Vickie grew up in Presque Isle, was a 1975 graduate of Presque Isle High School and has been living in southern Maine for the last 15 years. She devoted her life to caring for others and will be remembered for her unconditional love, beautiful smile, silly humor, nurturing soul and lively spirit.
Vickie is survived by her devoted husband, William “Bill” Bunnell, Jr.; her beloved daughters, Abby Culberson of Portland, and Lindsay Culberson and son-in-law, Tyler Graves of Standish; step-son, Bradford Bunnell and wife, Shandee of Fairbanks, AK; step-daughter, Hanna Bunnell and her significant other, Matthew Walton of Eddington; adored grandchildren, Chase and Brandon Graves of Standish, and Keegan Bunnell of Fairbanks, AK; brother, James Arculeo and wife, Lynn of Bethlehem, PA; sister, Gerri Barry and husband, Denny of Sierra Madre, CA; nieces and nephews, Alex and Jenna Barry, Brittany Stein, Morgan Fields, and Erik and Joe Brinkman; special cousin, Terry Brinkman and husband, David; long time friends, Debbie and Leo Bard; and many other family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, and is now resting peacefully with Nana and Papa.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to their extended family and friends for their support throughout the years, as well as the Gosnell House staff for their support in their mother’s final days.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m., on Monday, July 28, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 919 Roosevelt Trail, Windham, where a reception followed in the parish hall. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, in Presque Isle, on Saturday, August 2, at 10 a.m. Arrangements by the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, ME 04082. In lieu of birthday presents for Vickie, flowers are welcome at her celebration.
