Scholarships awarded at Ashland commencement

    ASHLAND, Maine — Ashland District School graduated 20 students at commencement exercises Thursday, June 5. Seventeen of the graduates have been accepted to pursue post-secondary study at various institutions, one has enlisted in the military, and two will enter the work force.
The valedictory and salutatory addresses were delivered by Allyx Beaulier and Rachel Gillis.
Scholarship awards in the amount of $105,000 were presented to graduates pursuing higher education. Graduates, their post-secondary plans, and scholarships received are as follows:
