Parker reaches hoop milestone – East Grand High School senior Nic Parker wasn’t going to miss his final high school basketball game, despite suffering torn ligaments in his knee. Unbeknownst to him, a new chapter in school history was written on Friday, Feb 5. After 27 years, Parker, son of Fred and Kristi Parker of Danforth, became only the second male in East Grand School history to reach the 1,000 point mark. The last player to achieve that feat was Dennis White in 1972.
