UScellular invested more than $19 million in its Maine network in 2023. This includes network upgrades and 5G modernizations that enhanced connectivity across the state and advanced the company’s ongoing 5G network evolution and expansion strategy.
UScellular also donated $84,600 to non-profit organizations across Maine, including $32,300 each to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Border Towns in Presque Isle and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Waterville, and $20,000 to Maine Red Cross Chapters. Three Maine nonprofits, Bangor YMCA, Hope and Justice Project in Houlton, and Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maine, also received a total of $325,850 worth of hot spots and service to help youth connect to the Internet as part of the company’s After School Access Project.
